Covid-19 Update

You’ll be aware that the Warwickshire area is classified under Tier 4 restrictions due to the continued high prevalence of Covid-19 cases.

Space Healthcare will still be open. There are no restrictions with regards to medical and dental treatment and you are actively encouraged to keep your appointments.

At Space Healthcare we have all the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and will continue to follow our high standards of cross infection control along with a robust triaging policy to ensure the safety of both patients and staff.

Before you arrive

  • We’ll contact you to confirm your appointment details prior to your visit
  • We’ll send you a Risk Assessment form to allow us to check your potential exposure to Covid-19
  • We may send you a form to update the latest details of your general health
  • We will request payment for your visit before you arrive — to reduce contacts we are not accepting payments at the time of your appointment
  • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients.
  • This may mean that you are initially offered fewer options for arranging your appointment. We’ll do our best to ensure waiting times are minimised.

When you arrive:

  • We ask that you attend alone, although children may be accompanied by one parent.
  • You may be asked to wait outside the building until we are ready to open the doors for you.
  • Reception waiting areas and communal spaces will be clearly marked out, respecting social distance recommendations.
  • We will ask you not to use the toilet facilities if possible
  • Please wear a mask at all times while you are inside, removing your mask only when in the treatment room at the request of a team member.
  • We will continue to check your temperature and if this is above 37.8C, you will be advised to re-book your appointment.
  • As you enter the building you will need to use alcohol disinfectant rub to disinfectant your hands.
  • The treatment rooms will be prepared prior to your appointment with all surfaces disinfected after each patient.
